Back in March, production on The Morning Show was shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

‘In concert with our dedicated partners at Apple, we have concluded it would be prudent to take a two-week hiatus to assess the situation and ensure the safety of the incredible people who make this show,’ producer Michael Ellenberg said at the time.

Needless to say, the two-weeks were extended indefinitely as the pandemic worsened throughout the U.S.
