Courteney Cox expertly plays the piano as her daughter Coco sings Fleetwood Mac’s Silver Springs

She’s a hugely successful actress who is also clearly musically gifted, and the apple appears not to fall far from the tree.

Friends star Courteney Cox shared an impressive post to her Instagram on Sunday, showing a beautiful musical moment shared between her and her 16-year-old daughter Coco Arquette.

In the video share, Cox, 56, and Coco cover Fleetwood Mac’s 1977 classic Silver Springs, with Courteney on the piano and her daughter doing a fantastic job on vocals.

Courteney played the keys expertly, supported by Joel Taylor on guitar.

‘Proud of my coconut,’ the Cougar Town actress captioned the clip.

The post received love from over 200k fans, including lovely comments from the likes of Isla Fisher, Iris Apatow, Kevin Nealon and Chelsea Handler.

Cox has often been seen tickling the ivories on her Instagram this year, clearly gaining the confidence to show off her piano skills more and more for her over 10million followers. 

And she’s repeatedly posted snippets in which she plays alongside Coco, who has an exceptional knack for singing.

It makes sense, especially since Courteney just recently celebrated her 7th anniversary with Northern Irish singer Johnny McDaid.

Last December, she posted a charming clip in which she and Johnny played some music at the Royal Albert Hall in London, England. 

The pair have unfortunately had to quarantine separately this year, with Courteney stateside and Johnny still in Europe, since March due to the pandemic. 

Cox shares Coco, meanwhile, with her ex-husband David Arquette, whom she met on the set of Scream back in the mid-90s. 

Courteney and David are currently working again, on a fifth go-round of the enormously successful horror franchise.

Filming on Scream 5 (the working title, as its believed to be somewhat of a reboot) began last month in Wilmington, North Carolina.
