Jimmy Bartel and Lauren Mand have a new addition to their family. 

On Sunday, Lauren, 31, shared an Instagram Stories post showing Jimmy, 36, taking their puppy Kensi for her first-ever walk. 

In the photo, Jimmy can be seen from the waist down, with the white fluff ball happily trotting along beside her new daddy.

Lauren captioned the photo: ‘First time on a lead and she is pretty proud of herself. We have a poser!’ 

The Melbourne office worker introduced the dog two weeks ago with a sweet Instagram post. 

She captioned it: ‘She made it! Welcome to the team Kensi. Let the adventures begin.’

Lauren also revealed the pup is a Groodle, also known as a Goldendoodle – a hybrid of a golden retriever and a poodle. She tagged Jimmy in the post, indicating that the puppy belongs to them both. 

It comes after the couple celebrated their one year anniversary late last month, each sharing sweet Instagram posts, in which Lauren revealed Jimmy had gifted her a Simpsons artwork. 

‘Three hundred and sixty five days. Thanks for the artwork, it’s going straight to the pool room,’ Lauren wrote in tribute to the Cats legend.

Jimmy and Lauren were first pictured as a couple in August 2019, after the AFL star announced his separation from wife Nadia Bartel.  

Nadia and Jimmy share custody of two children, sons Aston, four, and Henley, one.
