Elle Macpherson’s son Flynn debuts his glamorous new girlfriend

Elle Macpherson’s son Flynn, 22, is officially off the market.  

Flynn, whose father is French financier Arpad Busson, debuted his new girlfriend Avery Domi, via Instagram on Monday by wishing her a happy 22nd birthday. 

The Boston University graduate uploaded an intimate photo of himself cuddling a bikini-clad Avery by the water on Harbor Island, The Bahamas, captioning the post with a birthday cake and love-heart emoji. 

Avery, who is the daughter of retired Canadian ice hockey player Tahir ‘Tie’ Domi, perched on Flynn’s lap as he wrapped his arms around her torso and gave her a kiss on the cheek.   

It didn’t take long for Elle, 56, to confirm her approval of Flynn’s new flame, commenting on the post: ‘Happy birthday beauty [love heart emoji]’. 

Avery previously debuted Flynn on her Instagram feed last month, uploading a photo of the couple cosying up together on an outdoor daybed.  

‘Summer with you,’ she captioned the steamy image. 

Aside from being the son of Australia’s most famous model exports, Flynn is also a budding Instagram influencer, boasting almost 24,000 followers.  

Flynn documents his expensive hobbies and five-star holidays on Instagram, from skiing in Switzerland to playing polo in Argentina and driving around the Coachella Valley. 

Not only does he travel on private aircraft, he also flies them.

In 2016, Flynn revealed he had acquired a pilot license at the age of 19.

‘Licensed pilot, watch out skies,’ he wrote on Instagram. Four years later, he regularly shares photos of himself behind the controls in various aircraft.  

Flynn completed his academic studies this year, graduating from Boston University in May. 

Elle congratulated her son in Instagram at the time writing: ‘My beloved Flynn. Last day of university. Congratulations on your brilliant academic life. It seems only yesterday you were this young boy or the teenager graduating high school.’ 

‘We are so proud of the man you’ve become and how you’ve evolved and adjusted to life’s twists and turns and flourished with humour, grace and elegance,’ she continued. 

‘You are a credit to yourself. I wish we were celebrating in more traditional ways, but we will in time. Today is just the beginning.’

Flynn previously spoke about his mother Elle last year to Vogue Australia, saying: ‘I know everyone says that about their mum, but it really is true.’

‘My mother has always been so incredibly devoted to me and my brother,’ he continued. 

‘I always knew we were her number-one priority. It has shone through everything from the way she chooses her jobs to the way she cooks dinner.’   

Elle shares her sons, Arpad Flynn Alexander Busson (known as Flynn) and Aurelius Cy Andrea Busson (known as Cy), with her ex-fiancé, Arpad Busson.   

The proud Australian model, 56, congratulated the 22-year-old after he graduated from Boston University, describing him as a ‘credit to himself’.
