Zach Braff and girlfriend Florence Pugh share emotional final farewell to their beloved dog Roscoe: ‘Goodbye to my best friend’
Zach Braff said his final farewell to his dog Roscoe on Friday, October 2.
The Scrubs actor shared his emotional and heartbreaking goodbye in a series of Instagram photos that chronicled their 17 years together.
‘Today I had to say goodbye to my best friend, Roscoe Braff. He made it 17 years! I feel so lucky that we found each other,’ Braff, 45, began in the caption before encouraging his 1.4 million followers to ‘adopt a dog.’

Braff went on to call his adoption of Roscoe in 2003 ‘the best decision’ he ever made.’
He ended by sharing, ‘Goodbye, my old friend. We’ll catch up some other time.’
Braff’s girlfriend, Academy Award-nominated actress Florence Pugh, was quick to comment on his post: ‘RIP to a legend. Best face kisses in town.’

‘Goodnight sweet Roscoe, Thank you for all the love you gave and for all the kisses you treated me to,’ she added in the caption of a photo of the little white pooch.
‘I genuinely count myself lucky that I got to see such a beautiful friendship between a man and his dog. RIP Roscoe 02/10/20.’

Pugh and Braff reportedly met when they worked together on the short film, In The Time It Takes To Get There..
They have been reportedly been an item since April 2019.
