The Block’s Scott Cam offers rare glimpse at family life as he shares a sweet selfie with his twins

He’s the beloved TV tradesman who keeps things running on The Block.

But it was all tools down for Scott Cam on Thursday, who was busy spending time with those who matter most: his family.

The 57-year-old offered a rare glimpse into his life off screen as he celebrated the 21st birthday of his twins, Bill and Sarah.

The doting dad, who is also the father to his eldest son, Charlie, shared the twin’s special moment on Instagram.

He uploaded a picture of the three of them, with his arms wrapped around the shoulders of each, as the trio beamed at the camera.

‘From little things big things grow. Happy 21st birthday to my most favourite twins,’ he captioned the post.

‘I love you.’

While Scott has always been fairly active on social media, he has been recently sharing more pictures of his kids and personal life online.

Scott uploaded a picture of a ‘father and son night’ on September 24, where he was seen saluting a beer with his sons and two friends.

He also uploaded a picture of him inspecting a beehive with his son, Charlie, which made him ‘slightly nervous’.

‘My son is doing a spring inspection of his beehive and I am a slightly nervous assistant,’ Scott captioned the September 10 Instagram post.

Days earlier, he was also spotted spending Father’s Day with his children.

‘We’re not quite as good as the mums, but I reckon we’re in the grand final.

‘Thank you to my beautiful kids for a great day today.’

It was reported last month meanwhile that Scott lives in an art deco apartment in Port Melbourne for four months of the year, which was a pad renovated on The Block in 2016.

The 57-year-old, who has hosted The Block for a decade, secretly splashed $2.2 million on the bolthole in 2017.

The apartment is located inside the former J. Kitchen & Sons Art Deco soap factory, and was renovated as part of a challenge on The Block.

He uses it as his Melbourne abode for four months of the year during The Block’s filming.

‘I loved this building so much I wanted to buy one of the apartments,’ Scott told The Herald Sun.

‘To me it is a no-brainer buying a Block house.

‘It came fully furnished with all beds, sheets, towels, knives, forks, plates. Everything comes with the joint. I literally turned key and walked in the door and turned the tele on.’

Scott boasts an impressive property portfolio, including a lavish $6.5 million trophy home in Sydney’s exclusive suburb of Vaucluse.
