Country star Jameson Rodgers proposes to singer Sarah Allison Turner at Nashville’s iconic Bluebird Cafe where they met nine years ago

Country heartthrob Jameson Rodgers proposed to his singer-songwriter girlfriend Sarah Allison Turner and she accepted.

The 32-year-old crooner popped the question at the iconic Nashville music venue the Bluebird Cafe which is where they met nearly a decade ago.

He got down on one knee as they cuddled up together onstage surrounded by candles, he revealed in a black and white Instagram album.

The romantic pictures also showed the newly engaged couple dancing around the stage of the Bluebird Cafe the evening of the proposal.

They kissed passionately as they twirled around to the music, and her brand new engagement ring glittered on her finger.

‘I met @sarahallisonturner at the Bluebird 9 years ago. Took a few years for me to finally ask her out,’ he dished in the caption.

‘Last night I surprised her there and asked her if she’d marry me. She said YES!!’ Jason gushed to his more than 39 million followers.

The Bluebird Cafe was one of the three sites of the Academy Of Country Music Awards which were held last month in Nashville.

In order to social distance the event was held in three legendary venues – the Bluebird, the Ryman Auditorium and the Grand Ole Opry.

While some of the acts performed live at these Nashville landmarks, other parts of the awards show were also done virtually.

Jameson became a hit in the country music scene last year with the smash hit single Some Girls, a soulful breakup ballad.

The Mississippi charmer also co-wrote the title song on Luke Bryan’s latest album Born Here Live Here Die Here which dropped in August.

Meanwhile Sarah’s songs include this year’s number Never Gonna Break Up, which she co-wrote with Jameson and Riley Thomas.
