Charli XCX wrote and recorded her fourth studio album, How I’m Feeling Now, during a six week creative span amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Now, some four months following its release, and the British-born singer has been focusing on keeping her body and mind in tune with regular workouts.

And on Thursday the British-born singer was spotted sipping on an iced-coffee in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles after working up a sweat at a local gym.

Chali (born Charlotte Emma Aitchison) showed off her womanly curves in a black sports bra and matching skin-tight shorts, along with high-top sneakers.

She covered up with a black cropped jacket and had her dark brown tresses pulled back into a bun.

Making her nearly unrecognizable, the pop star also wore dark sunglasses and a black protective mask, which was in accordance to health and safety protocols amid the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.

Ahead of the release of How I’m Feeling Now on May 15, Charli took to Instagram to give her 3.7 million followers some insight into her frenzied six-week creative process.

‘I’m going to use this isolation time to make a brand new album from scratch,’ she said in a video posted back on April 6.

‘I’m only going to be able to use the tools I have at my fingertips to create all music, all artwork, all videos… everything—in that sense, it’ll be very DIY [do it yourself},’ she added.

The recording and title were directly inspired by the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown.

Debuting on number 33 on the UK Albums Chart, Chari has released three singles: Forever, Claws and I Finally Understand, in promotion of the album.

For the most part, How I’m Feeling Now was met with widespread critical acclaim.

It comes just eight months after the release of her third studio album, Chali, that included the songs 1999 with Troye Sivan, Blame It on Your Love featuring Lizzo and Gone with Christine And The Queens.

In addition to her solo work, Charli XCX has co-written songs for other artists, including Iggy Azalea, Selena Gomez, Blondie, Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello.
