Bindi Irwin ‘having the best time of her life’ being pregnant

She’s expecting her first child – a baby girl – with her new husband Chandler Powell in 2021.

And on Friday, it was revealed that the popular conservationist, 22, is having ‘the best time of her life’ being an expectant mother – and will continue to share baby updates with fans throughout her pregnancy.

An insider told Us Weekly magazine: ‘They’re enjoying every element of the pregnancy and feel beyond blessed to have so much support and love from their family, friends and fans.’

She source claims the duo have been reading up on parenthood in preparation for their little one’s arrival, and are having the ‘time of their lives’ in doing so.

‘Bindi decided right from the get-go it would be great to share her entire pregnancy journey on social media, and Chandler’s been taking photos and helping her with the posts – as has her brother, Robert, and mom Terri,’ the source added.

The young couple were married on March 25, in a makeshift ceremony at Australia Zoo, just before Covid pandemic lockdown. 

Bindi and Chandler revealed their baby news in August on Instagram, with the pair holding up a baby-sized Australia Zoo khaki uniform to share their delight. 

Last week, the mother-to-be shared a photo of herself cuddled up to an Aldabra tortoise at her home in Australia Zoo, Queensland to Instagram.

In the image, Chandler posed alongside her behind a pink floral display, as he held up a photo of the sonogram showing their baby.

Bindi wrote in the caption: ‘Baby girl, you are our world.’ 

‘Our beautiful daughter is now about the same size as a hatchling Aldabra tortoise and is as healthy as can be.   

‘We can’t wait for her arrival next year,’ the Wildlife Warrior added.

Chandler also shared the same photo sweet photo, and wrote in the caption: ‘Our little girl and my beautiful wife are my entire world. 

‘I’m so excited to meet our daughter when she’s born next year and to see the incredible person she will grow up to be❤️.’
