Katherine Schwarzenegger embraces mom life as she takes baby girl Lyla for a stroll

Katherine Schwarzenegger was a mom on-the-go Thursday.

The proud mother-of-one looked like she was in her element while spending time with seven-week-old daughter Lyla.

Katherine, 30, was darling while pushing her pride and joy around their Santa Monica neighborhood, seen wearing a chic monochrome look with her hair twisted into braided pigtails.

While her hair was ultra girly, she kept her clothing on the sporty side during the walk.

The author’s all black ensemble was fuss-free, consisting of leggings and a matching tee shirt.

The wife of Chris Pratt – who became a mom for the first time in mid August –  accessorized with retro shades and fun New Balance sneakers. She added a high class touch with a pair of dazzling diamond studs.

And of course the star was masked up per California regulations, seen sporting a stylish disposable covering by Evolve Together.

It appears like Katherine is settling into live as a mom quite smoothly.

She and her family have found a ‘good routine’ with their nearly two-month-old according to a source for Entertainment Tonight.

‘Katherine, Chris and Lyla have settled in and have a good routine down. Both Chris and Katherine are busy with work but always make Lyla their priority,’ the insider said. 

‘Chris and Katherine have been overwhelmed with love and support from their family and friends. They are happier than ever and love how every day Lyla brings a smile to their face.’

Katherine and her movie star husband, 41, announced the birth of their baby girl on August 10, taking to Instagram to share a sweet photo of the parents holding their newborn’s tiny hand.

‘We are beyond thrilled to announce the birth of our daughter, Lyla Maria Schwarzenegger Pratt,’ Pratt said. ‘We couldn’t be happier.’ 

‘Both mom and baby are doing great. We are extremely blessed,’ he continued, signing off: ‘Love Katherine and Chris.’   

Though Lyla is Schwarzenegger’s first child, Pratt already shares a seven-year-old son Jack with ex wife Anna Faris, 43.
