Claire Holt shares sweet picture of her newborn after giving birth and reflects on motherhood

The Vampire Diaries star Claire Holt gave birth to her second child, with husband Andrew Joblon last week. 

And on Saturday, the actress shared a sweet photo of her newborn baby girl Elle to Instagram. 

The 32-year-old reflected on motherhood, explaining that it has been a ‘different experience’ the second time around. 

‘It’s been such a different experience this time. I feel so much more relaxed and confident,’ she captioned the photo.

‘I don’t question every single decision that I make and know that all that matters is that she is loved, fed, and safe.’ 

She went on to add that her first child James, is the ‘sweetest big brother’ and he is ‘adjusting well’ to the new baby. 

In the photo, Elle was pictured fast asleep on Claire’s shoulder following a feed. 

Claire and her real estate executive husband welcomed Elle Last week.

The TV star shared the news with her fans on her Instagram page.

‘She’s here. Our sweet girl, Elle. After 27.5 hours of labor, she flew into the world and expanded our hearts. We are so grateful for our healthy baby and cannot wait for her to meet her big brother,’ she wrote.

Meanwhile, Claire’s husband praised his wife for being so tough during a long labour, amid already challenging times.

‘@claireholt again proved to me she is my hero and a true warrior – I love you with all my heart. Thank you so much for birthing this sweet little girl in a challenging year,’ he wrote on his Instagram page.
