Christine Quinn admits ‘hurtful’ trolls have made her cry: ‘Sometimes, it hurts my feelings’

Christine Quinn has become one of our favorite reality show villains, serving attitude on Netflix’s Selling Sunset.

But the celebrity real estate agent isn’t as immune to the backlash as she makes herself out to be.

She recently admitted in an interview with The Sunday Times that she’s shed a tear or two over ‘hurtful’ trolls, amid the hit reality show’s evolving drama.

The 31-year-old said: ‘People that don’t know me say hurtful things. I’m just like, “Ugh, whatever.” I don’t know these people.

‘But when I hear stuff from other people… That’s upsetting. Sometimes, it hurts my feelings. Sometimes, it makes me cry.’

Although she’s as vulnerable as the next person, she clarified that she has no intention of toning down her villainous persona.

Quinn said: ‘That’s what people love about me. But obviously there are different sides to me. On the show, it’s one note. But I’m a multifaceted villain.

She added: ‘I don’t feel like [b****] is a bad word. I embrace it. It stands for someone who knows what they want and speaks their mind. So many people don’t. If I get labelled a b**** because I speak my mind, then yeah, I guess I’m a b****.”

The Shark Night actress has also opened up about how the show has affected her depression and anxiety.

She said this week on the podcast Too Tired to Be Crazy: ‘It’s something that I’ve always had, and I feel like people who are really creative especially struggle with this balance.’

Quinn also revealed that she’s taken Lexapro to treat it at different points in her life, taking it daily after season one premiered on Netflix.

She added: ‘I know I’ve always had it, but the show definitely intensified it. It was the show coming out and dealing with people that were so horrible to me that triggered it.’

The blonde beauty said of dealing with trolls: ‘It’s just the fact that it is repetitive negativity. That is really something that I don’t want to be a part of. And it’s just annoying to have to delete it… that was just for me what was overwhelming.’

It comes amid her feud with co-star Chrishell Stause, 39, who’s recently been going through a public divorce with Justin Hartley, 43.

Quinn appeared earlier this month on the podcast Brandi Glanville Unfiltered, where she defended talking to the press about the split.

She said: ‘When people are like, “Oh my god! I can’t believe you commented on Chrishell‘s divorce.” I’m like, “Yeah of course. I’m getting paid to. What do you mean?”‘

The bold fashionista stirred up further controversy during the interview, stating: ‘She’s kind of had and always has had this kind of victim mentality. She’s always the victim of something.’

Stause later responded with a screenshot of the quote on her Instagram story, writing: ‘Not a victim, never have been. I am a victor of many things and thriving. I can’t wait for you to get there so you can stop with this nonsense.’

She told Page Six: ‘We all just thought maybe they were having communication problems for a while. We heard that they were in therapy, so obviously there were some issues going on with them.’

Stause later wrote on Twitter: ‘It’s so frustrating and unfortunate that someone would use someone’s personal painful situation to get press for themselves. I can’t say I am surprised, but please check the source. She has absolutely zero knowledge of the marriage we had.’

Hartley filed for divorce back in November, which ‘blindsided’ Stause, playing out on the recently released third season of Selling Sunset.

Meanwhile, Quinn tied the knot in December with Christian Richard, 41, a retired software engineer and current multimillionaire.
