Back in 2014, Chadwick had signed a ‘lucrative five-film deal’ with Marvel Studios, according to Deadline.

Marvel might now be considering continuing on with the franchise by having one of the other characters succeed the Wakandan throne.

Possibilities include T’Challa’s love interest and spy Nakia (Nyong’o), his 16-year-old sister and tech wizard Shuri (Wright), head of the all-female special forces Okoye (Gurira), Border Tribe security head W’Kabi (Kaluuya), or mountain tribe leader M’Baku (Duke).
