Brian Austin Green says he would ‘never say never’ about reconciling his relationship with Megan Fox

After ten years of marriage and three kids, Brian Austin Green isn’t ruling out the possibility of rekindling his relationship with his estranged wife, Megan Fox.

While the pair, who split in May, have both been romantically linked to other people, the actor, 47, told his 460k Instagram followers he would ‘never say never’ about getting back together with Fox.

‘I kinda feel like people are on paths in life and sometimes your paths are together and you travel that path together, and you see eye to eye and then sometimes those paths do different things,’ he said during an Instagram Live on Saturday.

The Beverly Hills, 90210 alum went on to talk about their ‘three beautiful kids’ and ‘amazing 15-year relationship.’

‘We shared a lot together and we really went through a lot together,’ he added of Fox, who started dating Machine Gun Kelly less than a month after their split. ‘At some point I think our paths will regulate a bit and run parallel to each other.’

He continued: ‘I’m on my path doing what I feel I need to do to be happy and it’s not for a lack of love for the kids or lack of being responsible, it’s really important to take care of yourself.’

‘It’s important for us as parents to take care of ourselves. I wish her all the best and I wish myself the best as well,’ he said before commenting on her new flame.

When asked about his opinion on the 30-year-old Bad Things rapper, Green said that he ‘never met him.’

‘I’ve heard bad stories about him, but I’ve heard bad stories about myself as well and I know that most of those aren’t true,’ he concluded.

‘As of right now, I have no problem with him. I really hope that he and Megan are happy because it’s important that she’s happy and it’s important that everyone is happy.’

Green has been criticized for being seen on dates with Courtney Stodden then Tina Louise, after splitting from his wife.

But the Beverly Hills, 90210 star told the podcast Hollywood Raw with Dax Holt and Adam Glyn that he has a right to be seeing other women as Fox romances Machine Gun Kelly.

'We shared a lot together and we really went through a lot together,' he added of Fox, who started dating Machine Gun Kelly less than a month after their spilt; seen in 2014

‘I’m not playing anybody. My life is just much more under a microscope than somebody else’s. Isn’t that dating?’ he offered.

‘Aren’t you supposed to talk to multiple people? It doesn’t mean I’m a s***** person. That’s what you’re supposed to do, meet people and experience life.

Green then added, ‘When you start finding commonalities with someone, then it becomes something bigger. You have to be willing to get out there and put yourself out there. But I get judged for it, I think, unfairly.’

The ladies had a large age gap. Stodden is 25-years-old and Louise is 39-years-old; while Brian is 47-years-old.

‘What people normally do when they get out of [a relationship] is they date. They talk to multiple people at once, some people use dating apps, they talk to multiple people, they go on multiple dates, they spend time with people until you feel a connection with someone then something builds from there,’ he said.

And Brian revealed he has been using Instagram as a dating app, since his marriage ended.

He said: ‘I met both of them [Courtney and Tina] on Instagram. I had no idea that Instagram was so much of a dating site until I was single. Up until then, I posted pictures of benches, trees, the ocean and my kids doing stuff here and there. I was a total married dad on it.

‘All of a sudden I started getting DMs when Megan and I separated. [The DMs] started flowing in instantly, no shame in their game at all. I would get these DMs, and when you’re going through something like that and you’re hurting, you feel better when it seems like somebody is taking your side.

‘I would make the mistake of responding and saying, ‘Thank you.’ Not knowing I was opening some sort of door because that was never my experience of Instagram before then.

He also said that he did not know who Courtney was until after they went on a date in June. ‘I remember when I hung out with Courtney getting a call from somebody afterward saying, ‘There are pictures of you and Courtney Stodden,’ and I was like ‘How do you know her name?’ I had no idea who she was or any of the past anything,’ the star said.

‘I had done no research at all. It wasn’t until I was told, ‘This is the past, this is who this person is, this is what you might have to experience.’ Then you have that moment of, ‘Oh sh*t, what have I done? Sh*t.’ Hindsight again, 20/20. I wish I would have known beforehand.’

Brian said that Courtney ‘was a really nice person’ and did not want to bad mouth her.

But he did not appreciate the video Stodden shared with Brian in a hot tub. When asked if he felt ‘a little betrayed’ by that he said, ‘Yeah, of course.’ He argued she knew it was ‘out of context’ and thinks she ‘wanted to create a story and create some issues and something to be talked about and keep that going.’

As far as her sharing the revenge song, he said that was ‘f**king insane’ and he noted their lives are very different: ‘I’m 47 with four kids and I’m not out walking my dogs in bathing suits and sh*t like that.’

He also said during the podcast how he learned his Transformers actress wife was dating singer Machine Gun Kelly and it was not through the press.

‘I found out in my own way. And that’s as much detail as I’ll give you on that one. I didn’t read about it or anything like that,’ said the father-of-three.

As far as dealing with the split, the actor said he was doing fine. ‘I think it’s going as well as it can,’ said Brian.

‘There’s no rule book to it. There’s no way of doing it right or doing it wrong. We are learning as we go. The important thing for us is just communicating as much as we can,’ he admitted.

And he is aware that their three kids – Noah, seven, Bodhi, six, and Journey, three – will deal with the impact of their split.

‘I think the realization for us is we can’t take the view that it won’t affect the kids, because it will,’ he said.

‘I think it’s up to us, and parents in general, how it affects your kids. Whether it’s a really negative experience or it’s okay and they feel safe in it and feel loved. Everyone still loves and respects everyone, things are just different. It’s not bad different, it’s just different,’ he continued.

‘I wish Megan the absolute best in everything. I want her to be completely happy, for her, for the kids. That’s super important,’ added Green.

‘No one wants to be around somebody that’s unhappy, nothing good comes out of that. That’s a terrible situation. We are taking it day by day,’ he added.

Up until this point, the only images that the Cleveland native has shared of the Jennifer’s Body star have been from his Bloody Valentine video, in which she starred as his love interest, and the occasional post to his story.
