He walked cautiously with the long board raised above his head and the tether safely secured around his ankle.

Jonah launched himself into the water before exuding confidence as he rode the choppy waves like a pro.

The star looked to be in good spirits as he put his arms out to the side to help with balance while standing on the board before eventually calling it a day.

Jonah has been spending much of his time in Santa Monica after moving into a palatial abode in the sun-kissed coastal city with his 30-year-old fiancé Gianna Santos.

He purchased the 3,100 square-foot home from singer-songwriter Jesse Jo Stark, who had bought the property from Band-Aid heiress Libet Johnson in 2014.

The actor also owns an abode in New York City’s NoHo neighborhood that he snapped for $9.2 million in 2015.

Jonah and Gianna were first spotted together when they enjoyed a stroll in New York City in August 2018, and reportedly started dating around the same time.

News of their engagement came to light in September of last year, although it’s not known when the star popped the big question or when they plan to tie the knot.

On the work front, in October it was reported that Jonah pulled out of talks to star as either the Penguin or the Riddler in The Batman movie.

In January, Colin Farrell was announced to be portraying The Penguin, and Paul Dano as The Riddler.

Warner Bros. has currently set an October 1, 2021 release date for the superhero adventure, which also stars Robert Pattinson as Batman, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon and Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth.

Production had begun on Pattinson’s Batman film in February, though filming was shut down shortly thereafter due to COVID-19.
