The Wildlife Warrior, 22, kept close to new husband Chandler Powell, 23, as they stepped out at Cairns Airport, in Far North Queensland.

Stepping out: On Friday, Bindi Irwin, 22, and husband Chandler Powell, 23, were spotted for the first time since announcing their pregnancy news. The couple were seen at Cairns Airport

The couple both put safety first amid the coronavirus pandemic, by wearing face masks in the terminal.

Bindi covered her burgeoning belly in a red and white plaid shirt, which she teamed with khaki trousers and runners.

Chandler opted for a grey T-shirt, beige trousers and boots.

The pair both wore khaki hats and kept close ahead of a flight.
