Big Brother: Janelle Pierzina gets voted out of the house

Janelle Pierzina became the latest casualty of the Big Brother All-Stars household after getting booted off the show on Thursday’s episode.

By a vote of 9 to 2, her castmates elected to save Kaysar Ridha, 39, her longtime friend and BB co-star, with whom she had been nominated for elimination.

At the eviction ceremony, Janelle, 40, told her friends she loved them and urged them to keep her if she could benefit their game ‘in any way.’

But it was all for naught, as one by one those she counted on failed to save the woman they called ‘the legendary Janelle,’ who had simply become too big a target.

When she learned her fate, the BB group hugged her and applauded, telling her they loved her.

Despite the loss, it was another well-played game for the mother of three, who fought for her spot until the bitter end.

She’d aligned herself with old pal Kaysar early on, trusting in the bond they had formed while co-starring in BB6, BB7 and BB22, and becoming the only players to do two All-Star shows.

Still, she knew that she couldn’t just give up without a fight, and vowed to keep trying.

‘As much as Kaysar is my ride or die, I need to make sure I’m the one who stays,’ Janelle said early Thursday, as she tried to figure out her plan.

While she strategized, the ‘Slick Six’ alliance discussed who they were voting out of the house.

The group was comprised of Tyler Crispen, 23; Enzo Palumbo, 42; Bayleigh Dayton, 27; Da’Vonne Rogers, 32; Daniele Donato, 33; and Cody Calafiore, 29.

Da’Vonne said she didn’t really care who left, but privately she was hoping to keep Janelle.

‘I want Janelle to stay in this house, ok?’ the acting coach reflected. ‘I am in an alliance with guys, and they are a force to be reckoned with, especially together… With Janelle in this house, she can take them out down the line.’

Kaysar was aware of the difficult situation the upcoming elimination had put him in, though he felt sure that Janelle would be the one who got voted out.

‘The powers-that-be have already decided: Janelle is gonna be the one that goes home this week,’ he told the cameras. ‘That’s good for me, because I never wanted to campaign against Janelle to begin with.’

Janelle told Kaysar he was in a position to do well, but kept campaigning on her own behalf, aware that she just needed six votes to stay in the house.

On her own, she secured potential commitments from ‘Memphis’ Garrett, 37, Bayleigh, Da’Vonne, and Kevin Campbell, 40, with Dani also saying she might vote for her to stay.

‘If we can lock these votes in, I’m down,’ Da’Vonne reassured Janelle. ‘I’m not gonna get picked off, that’s not why I’m here.’

Bayleigh told Janelle that she needed to get Cody on her side, adding to camera that ‘Cody has Enzo’s ear, and if they flip, the whole alliance flips, and then she would be in the game.’

Janelle immediately spoke to Cody, who said he didn’t have an issue with her staying so long as she didn’t end up winning the game in the end.

In an unusual move, Janelle then offered to give Cody her wedding band as collateral, hoping that it would make him trust her more in the future.

‘I’ve talked to a lot of people who have been on the block, and no one has offered me a wedding band as collateral to keep them in the house,’ Cody said in a confessional. ‘It definitely seems like she’s very serious about not targeting me next week if she wins the HoH.’

While Janelle fought to stay, the Slick Six alliance seemed like it might actually fall apart.

It started when free agent David Alexander, 30, learned something troubling about them.

During last week’s elimination, when he was on the chopping block with Nicole Anthony, 24, Da’Vonne had told him that she would vote to keep him over her friend.’

But when David told her to ‘calm down’ and not be so visible with her support, Da’Vonne became annoyed and temporarily considered flipping on him to keep Nicole.

This week, Tyler told him that she’d almost given him up for good, which upset David so much he went to Da’Vonne to confront her, telling her that Tyler had spilled the dirt.

Tyler was horrified when he learned that his ally Da’Vonne knew what he’d said, and realized it would now threaten the burgeoning Slick Six alliance.

The jewelry company owner bemoaned his bad luck, aware that he might now be a target.

For a moment, he wondered if it wouldn’t be a good idea to keep Janelle in the game and use her as a shield, so he wasn’t the next person put up for elimination.

When the elimination ceremony rolled around, both Janelle and Kaysar made affecting pleas to stay in the house, adding that they really liked everyone there.

Dani voted on their fate first, and show host Julie Chen-Moonves, 50, felt sure that she would target Janelle—but to her surprise, both Dani and Enzo chose to save her.

Everyone else opted to let Janelle go, emphasizing that she was too good at playing the game.

‘By a vote of 9 to 2, Janelle, you are evicted from the Big Brother house,’ Julie told her, as the woman strapped on a mask and hugged everyone goodbye, amid applause.

Moments later, she seated herself in the BB studio across from Julie, who admired her light purple cocktail dress and asked her if she’d gotten dressed up to go.

‘If I come out of here, I’m not coming out of here without a cocktail dress on,’ Janelle joked.

Julie told her then that Dani and Enzo had been the only people who voted to keep her in the house, which ‘confused’ Janelle, though she knew that her pals were just playing the game.

She was surprised to learn, however, that her ‘buddy’ Memphis had been part of a secret alliance called The Commission, as she thought she’d known all of its members.

In fact, Julie told Janelle, she may have sealed her own fate by accidentally mentioning to Memphis that she knew who most of the Commission members were.

In goodbye messages to Janelle, Bayleigh and Cody explained that their vote against her was nothing personal; they were just trying to be good players.

Nicole Franzel, 28, seemed a bit more sour, telling her, ‘I thought we were really good friends outside of here, and quickly I realized that wasn’t the case. I know you probably don’t want to come to my wedding, so just don’t worry about it.’

Kaysar went last, saying, ‘Janelle, if you’re seeing this message, know that it’s coming with a heavy heart. I am so thankful this game brought us together long ago, and I am going to make sure the alliance that sent you out the door is going to pay.’

‘But he doesn’t know!’ Janelle cringed, grabbing her head. ‘He’s going to tell Memphis everything. This is terrible. I’m very worried.’

After Janelle left, the other 12 players competed to become the next Head of Household.

Julie told them that the Safety Suite would be closed from now on, so it was more important than ever that they win.

They all played Carnival Quick Shot, a game in which they rolled three balls down a long ramp into three holes, and vied to see who would sink them fastest.

The winner of that game, and the HoH title, will be announced on Sunday’s show.
