The former professional motocross star appeared to be smiling behind his face mask, despite having just undergone a painful operation.

He reposted the photo on his own Instagram and made sure to thank the So What singer for being ‘my rock when I’m banged up.’

‘Surgery was a success!!! Thanks so much to my amazing wife and nurse, @pink . She is my rock when I’m banged up. Time to get on the mend.’

Just before entering the operating room, Hart posted a selfie that showed him flashing a thumbs up to the camera.

Though he did not specify what incident or incidences injured the tendons around his shoulder joint, Carey did state, himself, that he underwent a ‘rotator cuff repair’ on Wednesday.

In the days leading up to the surgery, Hart kept his 1.1million followers clued in on his pre-op process, which happened to include a mandatory COVID-19 test.

While in line for his test, the husband of Pink admitted that the surgery was ‘gonna suck,’ but that he was just ‘gonna put [his] head down and come out stronger on the back side.’

Once he was tested for coronavirus, Carey made his way to his final pre-op appointment where he got fitted for an arm sling.

‘Pre op done and getting fitted for my gun slinging holster. Good thing nurse @pink is with me to make sure I actually do what the dr says! T minus 40 hours til I get cut,’ captioned Hart.

Although she was not the patient on Wednesday, Pink, as well as the couple’s son Jameson, three, was diagnosed with COVID-19 in April.

At the time, Pink explained in an Instagram post that her and Jameson ‘were showing symptoms of COVID-19’ and that they got tested by their primary care physician and found out they were positive for the virus.

‘My family was already sheltering at home and we continued to do so for the last two weeks following the instruction of our doctor. Just a few days ago we were re-tested and are now thankfully negative,’ she concluded, while sharing a photo of herself and the three-year-old.

For the epic photo, Pink donned a black life vest and bikini bottoms as she celebrated her ‘thunder thighs’ in the caption.

‘I always wondered why God gave me thunder thighs. It’s cause he knew I’d use them,’ she wrote.

She also posted a sweet selfie with son Jameson writing: ‘Lake days are the best days’

Pink uploaded a video of husband Carey taking Jameson wakesurfing with him, captioned: ‘Turn down for what.’
