‘I told myself I wasn’t gonna get upset’: Bachelor favourite Bella Varelis breaks down and reveals her insecurities while being comforted by best friend Irena Srbinovska
Bella Varelis is the one of the favourites to win Locky Gilbert’s heart on The Bachelor.
But on Thursday, the 25-year-old broke down and revealed she was feeling insecure about her place in the adventurous hunk’s heart.
The brunette beauty went on to tell producers she was struggling with watching Locky get cosy with other women on the show.

‘I’m seeing him look at so many girls the same way that he looked at me. And I told myself that I wasn’t gonna get upset,’ she said.
Before adding: ‘… I genuinely have really strong feelings for him. He literally hasn’t looked at me once tonight.
Bella then told her best friend Irena Srbinovska, who has also formed a connection with the strapping hunk’s heart, that she felt like she wasn’t ‘good enough’.

Irena gave her a hug, telling her: ‘Please do not ever, ever, ever think that. Because you are. You are good enough. OK? You’re better than enough. OK?’
Bella confessed: ‘I wish I didn’t like him this much.’
Bella later revealed to producers that it was hard to have feelings for Locky and be friends with Irena.
Friendship: The marketing professional later told producers that Irena was like ‘the older, better version of me. Irena’s just the upgrade of Bella.’

Both Irena and Bella are the tipped as the favourites in the competition.
Irena is currently the main frontrunner to win Locky’s heart, with odds of $1.25 while Bella is expected to be runner-up at $3.75, according to TAB‘s latest betting odds as of Thursday.
