Vogue Williams says marriage to Brian McFadden ‘makes me sick in my mouth’

Vogue Williams has reflected on her relationship with former spouse Brian McFadden as she admitted she’s ‘never been massively sad about a break-up’.

During the first episode of their eponymous podcast with husband Spencer Matthews, the DJ, 34, confessed the thought of her first marriage ‘makes me a little bit sick in my mouth’ as the couple discussed their previous romances.

The Heart Radio host, who shares Theodore, 23 months, and one-month-old Gigi with the Made In Chelsea star, 32, was left cringing as businessman Spencer said he’s reminded of her singer ex every time he sees their old certificate in their safe.

Vogue and Westlife’s Brian, 40, tied the knot in September 2012 after 16 months of dating, and officially divorced in 2017 after calling it quits two years prior.

The blonde went on to tie the knot to reality star Spencer in January 2018, while the musician announced his engagement to his girlfriend of three years Danielle Parkinson in December.

Former Lothario Spencer admitted he’s left irritated whenever he sees his wife’s old marriage documents.

The TV star said: ‘Every time I go into the safe by the way I have to see your marriage certificates because like we needed them for a mortgage and I just have to look at them. Like what the f*** is this c**p.

‘And it is unearthed every single time I go there. I look in the safe, which is most days.’

‘I’m so glad I don’t have to look at the safe. Sometimes I forget it ever happened. Let’s bin that [marriage certificate] one. It makes me feel a little bit sick in my mouth’, Vogue boldly said.

‘I can’t say I’ve ever been massively sad about a breakup either. I was more embarrassed.’

Without specifying which ex she was referring to, the mother of two added: ‘I have one horrendous ex that I can’t shake ever as everyone s**** me about it all the time.’

Artist Brian, who shares daughters Molly, 18, and Lilly-Sue, 17, with first wife Kerry Katona, has also taken a swipe at Vogue in the past as he branded their failed marriage ‘just a party’.

The Swear It Again hitmaker said on Loose Women back in January 2019: ‘I think marriage is just a party. You’re not paying any respect to it when you get married then get divorced a few years later.’

Spencer’s flings were shown on Made In Chelsea – where he developed a ‘bad boy’ persona for cheating on his girlfriends.

The TV personality previously dated former co-stars Louise Thompson, Caggie Dunlop and Lucy Watson.

Poking fun at his past, Vogue said: ‘You went on with someone who you took ages to dump who was bats***. You went out with her for ages!’

The media personality responded by insisting his current union is his most solid romance as he candidly explained: ‘I never cared about my relationships as a kid.

‘If it didn’t fit I’d change the shoe. A lot of my break-ups came about and I just thought, ‘Cool, cheers for your time.” Before you, there was not one person I actually wanted to marry, not even close.

‘I don’t think we really need to go into each other’s ex’s, especially from where you are sat’, he joked.
