Ulrika Jonsson shared a fun selfie on Tuesday after taking part in an outdoor photoshoot in her garden.

Ulrika kept details of the photoshoot to a minimum but did reveal that she had been shot in her apron and wellies.

The presenter also offered a candid life update as she shared that she had found a missing bracelet and that her dog Leo had been poorly with a ‘distended stomach’.

Ulrika admitted that she was feeling good after a productive day and she wasn’t sweating the ‘small stuff’.

She penned: ‘When much of the day felt like this. But despite storm Francis and what felt like October were trying to wreck a timid end to August, I had a reasonably productive day.

‘I got shot. In the garden. In the wind and the rain. In apron and wellies and in homemade make-up by a charming Mexican. Photographer. Can’t deny I felt quite alive. And a bit b****y frozen.

‘All the while…. my precious 20year old silver charm bracelet has been missing since my birthday and I’ve been sitting on the train of denial, riding around the same old stations and locations over and over again in the hope I would get to destination Reunion.

‘Everything got turned over, cleared and cleaned to within an inch of its life in pursuit of my misplaced effulgence. Then Genius Jonsson checked her wallet and there it was. See, you can drink and be responsible. And have no memory of where you put stuff.’

She added: ‘Leo’s been unwell with a distended stomach for a few days. Already had one visit to vet. Feel another coming on. But apart from that, today felt good.

‘Like one of those days when you just march on and don’t sweat the small stuff. Which inevitably means tomorrow will be s***e. #glasshalf.’

'Love you, darling girl': Ulrika praised her 'brilliant' daughter Martha for passing her GCSEs on Thursday

‘Love you, darling girl’: Ulrika praised her ‘brilliant’ daughter Martha for passing her GCSEs on Thursday

It comes after she praised her ‘brilliant’ daughter Martha for passing her GCSEs on Thursday after the government’s U-turn meant results could be based on teachers’ estimated grades following the cancellation of exams amid the pandemic.

The presenter, who shares the 16-year-old with businessman ex Lance Gerrard-Wright, was every inch the proud mother as she took to Instagram to upload a cheery image of the teen.

She wrote: ‘Martha Moo. So proud of you. (Except when you sleep til 3pm). But: GCSEs. You did it. In a messed up year with so many rites of passage snatched from you by C-19.’

Injecting a hint of her typical humour into the post, the media personality added: ‘You have a brilliant mind. And you’re stubborn. What else does a girl need?Maybe an alarm clock.

‘Love you, darling girl. (Wishing all parents and students well today. What a palaver….)’ (sic).

The results for GCSE students were released at the same time as revised A-level results which showed more than 10 per cent of A-level entries have been upgraded following a U-turn on the way results are awarded, with 38.1 per cent of students gaining an A or A* this year, compared to 27.6 per cent in 2019.

It was also announced that all A-Level students with the correct grades will get into their first choice of university, and caps on student numbers for medical degrees have been scrapped.

The surge comes after Education Secretary Gavin Williamson scrapped the controversial algorithm system for both A-levels and GCSEs following a mass outcry from students and parents – and conceded teachers’ predicted grades must be used to mark pupils who could not sit their exams because of the pandemic.

Hundreds of thousands of youngsters received their GCSE results at 8am following major changes – but Btec pupils will not get their final results following a last-minute review of grades.

The Swedish TV star also shares children Cameron, 25, with cameraman John Turnbull, Bo, 19, with hotel manager Marcus Kempen, and Malcolm, 12, with advertising executive Brian Monet.

Earlier this month, Ulrika revealed she frustrated her two daughters during lockdown after they labelled her ‘anal’ and ‘menopausal’.

The former Gladiators host was called ‘more impatient than ever’ by Martha, while Bo admitted tensions in the household had reached an all-time-high.

Martha said to The Sun: ‘I have never known anyone who is so anal and house-proud as Mum.’

The blonde joked that having one ‘menopausal woman’ and ‘two hormonal female teenagers’ living under one roof during a pandemic is a recipe for disaster.

Despite the constant nagging and heated arguments, Bo, meanwhile, said she misses her mum now more than ever and wishes she could cuddle her after recently returning to Bath.
