Rebel Wilson is committed to making 2020 her ‘year of health’.

And on Monday, the 40-year-old comedian flaunted her slimmed-down frame during an outing in Malibu. 

The Australian actress, who has lost 18kg since January, looked chic as she shopped for a wetsuit in the coastal Californian city.

Rebel showed off her figure in a low-cut black sundress, which she appeared to be wearing over a black-and-white swimsuit. 

She completed her look with a large straw hat, designer slides and a face mask. 

The Pitch Perfect star swept her blonde locks into a side plait, and concealed her gaze behind a pair of cat-eye sunglasses.

The wetsuit will no doubt come in handy for Rebel, who told her 8.3 million Instagram followers on Tuesday that she was getting surf lessons.

‘First ever surf lesson in Malibu. Thanks to my BU crew for having my back and teaching me the way of the waves,’ she wrote.

Rebel accompanied the post with photos featuring her and several friends posing with surfboards on the beach. 

She also shared a number of videos showing off her new skills.

Rebel is believed to have shed an impressive 18kg (40lbs or 2.8 stone) since kicking off her ‘year of health’ in January. 

‘Okay so for me 2020 is going to be called “The Year of Health”,’ she wrote on Instagram at the time.

‘I put on the athleisure and went out for a walk, deliberately hydrating on the couch right now and trying to avoid the sugar and junk food which is going to be hard after the holidays I’ve just had but I’m going to do it!’

According to People last month, Rebel’s remarkable transformation is partially down to following the Mayr Method diet plan.

‘It’s an approach that eliminates food intolerances, reduces sugar, encourages eating whole foods slowly, boosts the immune system and reduces inflammation,’ a source said.

‘She exercises with a personal trainer up to six times a week, goes on walks and is trying to up her protein intake nutritionally.’

Rebel revealed in May she was trying to get down to her goal weight of 75kg (165lbs or 11.8 stone).
