Big Sean raps about losing a baby on his new track Deep Reverence… after he confirmed his reunion with singer Jhene Aiko earlier this year

Big Sean seemed to indicate that one of his partners had suffered a miscarriage in his newest single Deep Reverence.

The 32-year-old rapper included a line about losing a baby on the new track, which was released on Monday.

The single also features an old verse of the late rapper Nipsey Hussle, who was killed in March of last year.

Big Sean’s song includes the line: ‘Should be a billionaire based on the time off I’m not taking / Probably why the s**t around me get crazy and we lost the baby.’

As fans on Twitter began tweeting about the intimate verse, many assumed the rapper (real name: Sean Anderson) was alluding to his girlfriend Jhené Aiko, 32, though he didn’t mention her by name.

‘Nooo Jhene and Big Sean were expecting but she lost the baby omg :(,’ wrote one Twitter user who included a video of Kris Jenner sobbing from Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

‘Big Sean just said that’s probably why we lost the baby? Wayment… was he eluding to Jhene having a miscarriage?’ pondered another user.

He and the singer were first linked in 2016, though they haven’t previously mentioned a miscarriage.

The couple split in December 2018, and it was confirmed in March 2019, but the two reunited earlier this year.

Jhené confirmed they were back together earlier this year with a sweet Valentine’s Day post taken at Disney Land, and Sean later urged his fans to seek out her highly anticpated album Chilombo in March.

Since then, the two have been featured on each other’s Instagrams, and Sean revealed in March that they had been quarantining together.

Though the couple don’t have any children yet, Jhené has a daughter from a previous relationship, whom she gave birth to when she was 20.

Sean was previously linked to the late Naya Rivera and Ariana Grande.

Sean’s new track also generated buzz due to a verse from his late friend Nipsey Hussle, who died at age 33 when he was shot 10 times outside his clothing store in South Los Angeles.

Eric Holder, a man who had had an argument with Nipsey earlier on the day he was killed, was later charged with his murder.

The rapper was later honored at the 62nd Grammy Awards with two posthumous Grammys for Best Rap Performance and Best Rap/Sung Performance.
