The Bachelor Locklan ‘Locky’ Gilbert has confirmed he’s fallen madly in love with his ‘winning’ lady.
And while walking away with a girlfriend is a bonus, Locky is likely to have pocketed a VERY handsome six figure pay packet in the process.
An industry insider told Hit FM’s Tom and Olly on Friday that the former Survivor star was rumoured to have secured at least $100,000 for the TV role.

The source, who went by the name Eliza, speculated with an educated guess: ‘I think it’s probably around the hundred [thousand] mark.’
‘It’s [a] good [amount] when you’re a nobody and you’re there for three months and you get to hook-up with people!’ she joked, referring to Locky’s figure compared to other well-known stars on the series in the past.
In 2017, The Courier Mail reported that Sophie Monk was rumoured to be making $300,000 on the show, while other insiders claimed Matthew ‘Matty J’ Johnson had earned $200,000 for the 2017 season after his brutal rejection from Georgia Love.
Rugby star Nick ‘Honey Badger’ Cummins was also rumoured to have scored a $250,000 paycheck for his efforts on the series, despite shocking the nation by walking away without choosing a ‘winner’.

Despite the massive six-figure pay day, it was claimed earlier this week that Locky wasn’t actually the network’s first choice as a suitor.
According to the So Dramatic podcast, a ‘source’ from Channel Ten revealed they had tried a few other handsome lads before settling with Locky.
‘Locky has actually one-upped [plan B Bachelorettes Elly and Becky Miles], because it turns out he is our plan C Bachelor,’ the host said on the podcast.
