David Warner has bid his wife Candice and their daughters a sweet farewell as he prepares to head off to play cricket during the Indian Premiere League in the UAE.   

The cricketer, 33, shared three cosy Instagram snaps with the ironwoman-turned-WAG, 35, as he told her how much he would miss her.   

‘A very different goodbye for us this time, it’s been an unbelievable time at home with the family and I am going to miss you and the girls very much,’ he captioned the snaps.

Meanwhile, Candice is preparing to film Channel Seven’s new military-style reality show, SAS Australia.

Last week, she revealed why she signed up for the gruelling challenge, which will see celebrities endure everything sleep deprivation, to interrogation, even psychological testing.

She told the The Daily Telegraph: ‘I want to make my family proud so that my daughters can look up on the screen and see their mum and kiss the screen like they do when their daddy’s on TV.’

Candice continued: ‘I’m doing this for my family, for my kids and for myself. Since retiring about seven or eight years ago I haven’t had a goal.

‘I haven’t challenged myself as much as I’d like to so I just want to see how strong I am, how far I can push myself.’

Candice will star on the endurance reality show, with her years as a professional athlete giving her an advantage mentally and physically.

She will appear alongside PR queen Roxy Jacenko, former Bachelor Nick Cummins and Schapelle Corby.

The cricket WAG has certainly had her fair share of ups and downs alongside husband David Warner over the past two years.

David was banned for one year by Cricket Australia after he helped mastermind a plot to cheat in the Third Test against South Africa in March 2018.

Former captain Steve Smith and player Cameron Bancroft were also punished for their involvement, receiving 12-month and nine-month bans respectively.
