Molly-Mae Hague has shared terrifying footage of when she and Maura Higgins ‘nearly died’ after their yacht ‘almost capsized’ in Crete.

In the video uploaded to her YouTube channel on Friday, the Love Island star, 21, filmed herself saying the group were ‘scared for their lives’ due to the huge waves.

Molly-Mae was joined on the boat by Maura, 29, their hairstylist friend Jay Birmingham and Molly’s sister Zoe, when they ran into trouble last Saturday.

Visibly shaken in the video, the blonde beauty explained: ‘Guys this might be the last blog entry I ever do. We’re all scared for our lives. We’re on the boat and I have never seen waves like it.

‘Zoe was crying a second ago. The drivers are drenched, we’re drenched. I’m not being funny but they’ve not told us about any life jackets, we just set off and now we’re sat inside the boat trying to hide from the waves.’

In the video, Molly-Mae also showed her three friends looking nervous on the boat with Maura screaming and exclaiming that she was ‘going to get sick’.

Molly-Mae took to Instagram last Saturday to originally detail the experience which Maura said left them ‘petrified’ and ‘nearly vomiting’.

In a video shared by Molly-Mae, her sister and Jay can be seen pleading with the yacht operator to turn back over fears of their safety, as Maura huddled in a corner crying.

Molly-Mae wrote over the video footage: ‘I’ve never ever seen my sister speak like this.

‘She’s only speaking like this because we asked over ten times for them to turn the boat around and they wouldn’t.’

After sharing the first video, Molly-Mae added a second which showed Maura, Zoe and Jay look sick as they tried to keep calm in the situation, as her fellow Love Islander claimed the yacht crew were just ‘going faster to where we wanted to go’ rather than turn back.

She wrote over the Instagram story: ‘Soooo many questions from everyone. I’ll have to film a story time and explain the full morning but right now I’m just happy to be on solid ground.

‘Basically the waves were that bad the boat was almost capsizing and the drivers didn’t speak English. There were no life jackets.

‘Baring in mind me and my sis are both fully qualified lifeguards. We were both fearing for our lives. Was meant to be a relaxing day.
