Former My Kitchen Rules star turned radio host Ash Pollard is counting down the weeks until she welcomes her first child, with partner Pete Ferne.

And on Thursday, the 34-year-old star cut a low-key casual figure as she showed off her growing baby bump while running errands in Melbourne.

The expectant mum was spotted taking safety precautions amid the coronavirus pandemic, and opted to wear a surgical mask for the casual outing.

Ash, who is due to give birth in September, was seen filling her car up with petrol before she made her way back to car.

The radio presenter went makeup free and left her famous curly blonde hair out.

The sighting coincides with news that her hit FM breakfast show on the Central Coast will be syndicated throughout regional NSW.

On Friday, Radio Today confirmed that 19 regional breakfast programs from the Hit Network were being shut down, leaving many communities without a local brekky team.

According to the publication, the changes are set to begin from Monday, August 24, and were the result of a cost-cutting restructure.

The Gawndy & Ash Pollard breakfast show from Hit101.3 Central Coast will now be heard across most regional stations in New South Wales.

The impacted radio hosts are reportedly being redeployed where possible, but some will be leaving the network.

It is yet to be confirmed how many employees are set to leave the business.

The news comes after at least 25 jobs were axed at Channel 10, with further departures to be announced in the coming weeks. The changes are expected to be effective from September 14.

Morning show Studio 10 has been hit the worst, with outspoken panellist Kerri-Anne Kennerley and journalist Natarsha Belling being made redundant.

Other high profile presenters to be axed from the network include weather reporters Tim Bailey and Mike Larkan.
