Maluma ‘good and safe’ although even his management don’t know why he deleted his Instagram

Maluma mysteriously vanished from Instagram on Wednesday.

‘No one knows why he deactivated it, especially since he’s so open on it. But we know he’s good and safe,’ a Page Six insider said that day.

Even his management company WK Entertainment was evidently nonplussed, posting on Wednesday: ‘Does anyone know what happened to Maluma’s Instagram?’

Maluma’s disappearance from Instagram came after an apparent dig from soccer heartthrob Neymar, who is dating the singer’s ex Natalia Barulich.

Three weeks ago Maluma released a music video to a song called Hawai which is allegedly about his split from Natalia and her sizzling new romance with Neymar.

Neymar reportedly appeared in an Instagram video Tuesday night with his Paris St. Germain teammates dancing to Hawai after a victory against RB Leipzig.

Maluma got together with Natalia, who is Cuban-Croatian, at least as long ago as early 2018 but by last October they were through.

After the split there were rumors Natalia left him for Neymar, but she told Al Rojo Vivo in December: ‘Neymar is just my friend and the media makes up all these lies.’

She went Instagram official with the soccer pinup this February on his birthday, posting a gushing tribute to him with a picture of them together.

‘Everyone knows how extraordinarily talented you are, but if they could only see how real & beautiful you are inside you heart,’ she wrote.

As the months wore on the smoldering duo cozied up to one another in Paris in a sensational joint cover shoot for GQ Russia.

After Hawai dropped a Page Six insider spilled: ‘Maluma did not tell Natalia about the song. He wrote it based off of his own personal experiences.’
