‘Something I have not shared yet on this podcast is that I’m actually pregnant. I’ve got a bun in the oven,’ Candice revealed to her co-host Kayla Ewell and her listeners.

‘I’m a little over five months, so it’s been the entirety of the whole quarantine experience and everything that 2020 has brought us this year, and it’s been a journey to say the least,’ she continued.

The actress explained that she had sat on the news until she was ‘comfortable and confident that I’m in a good place in pregnancy and that, you know, my baby’s okay and I’m okay as best as we can be. But I’m finally at that place right now, which feels really good.’

‘I feel comfortable and confident enough to discuss it now,’ she continued.

Monday’s podcast featured a pregnancy-related conversation with Haize Hawk, a doula and a student midwife, and Candice used the occasion to tease her news.

‘This week we talk about about pregnancy during a pandemic, what a doula does, and how to keep yourself balanced during these times,’ she wrote. ‘Whether you’re surrendering to 2020 or to a pregnancy in 2020, Haize makes us all feel that we can drop into ourselves to find our true strength. Oh, and there might also be some exciting news shared in this special episode.’

Candice previously gave birth to her first daughter Florence May, now four, in January 2016.
