Rebecca Judd shares her compelling earpiece theory about The Bachelor

AFL WAG Rebecca Judd has shared her interesting earpiece theory about The Bachelor

Speaking on her KIIS FM radio show, the 3pm Pick Up on Monday, Bec, 37, claimed that producers feed the leading man lines through an earpiece during the finale.

It comes after Bachelor reject Nadine Kodsi made extraordinary claims about Locky Gilbert, saying that he wore an earpiece during filming and was fed lines and conversation starters by producers.

‘The speeches are so professional!’ On Monday, Rebecca Judd (pictured) shared her compelling earpiece theory about The Bachelor on her radio show – after an ex contestant claimed Locky Gilbert was a ‘PUPPET who repeated lines fed to him by producers’

‘Reality TV is staged? Who would have known!’ Bec said with a laugh.

Talking about using an earpiece on the show, she said that she understands the need for one during a finale.

‘I get that’s the expectation on the finale, when he dumps the runner up first and then he chooses,’ Bec said.

‘The speech they always give is so professionally written and professionally delivered.’

Her co-host Monty Dimond asked: ‘Do you think they’re delivering it to him in his ear?’

‘Totally, line for line,’ Bec said.

She added: ‘And I get that and will forgive them because it’s the finale, but just to be doing that in a regular episode seems a bit much, don’t you think?!’

Speaking out: It comes after Bachelor star Nadine Kodsi (pictured), who was booted off the show on the first episode, claimed that Locky was disingenuous on the red carpet and at the inaugural cocktail party, and accused him of being a 'production puppet'

It comes after Bachelor star Nadine Kodsi, who was booted off the show on the first episode, claimed that Locky was disingenuous on the red carpet and at the inaugural cocktail party, and accused him of being a ‘production puppet’.

She told the So Dramatic podcast last week that Locky wore an earpiece during filming and was fed lines and conversation starters by producers.

‘Locky is a puppet… I saw that from the first five minutes,’ Nadine said.

Nadine went on to claim that her red carpet introduction was cut from the season premiere because she called him out for his use of the earpiece.

She allegedly overheard producers telling Locky to ‘tell her she’s beautiful, ask her what does she do, how does she feel’.

Nadine supposedly found it ‘extremely distracting’ and asked Locky why he was wearing an earpiece.

‘I actually said to him, “Can you not speak for yourself? Do you have to listen to what they’re saying to you?”‘ she claimed.

She alleged that Locky played dumb, before producers stepped in and asked for them to film their introduction again.

‘They were like, “Nadine, you can’t talk about production. Do it again!”‘ she claimed.

Interestingly, Locky did appear to be wearing an earpiece at the cocktail party – but this isn’t unusual for participants of reality shows.

When similar claims were made about 2017 Bachelor Matty Johnson, a Channel 10 spokesperson said: ‘The Bachelor or Bachelorette are occasionally required to be connected to the director if there are technical difficulties with cameras, audio and lighting.

‘Once they get the all clear, they can continue with the Rose Ceremony proceedings. The Bachelor or Bachelorette never wears an earpiece during a cocktail party or on dates.’

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Channel 10 for comment, in relation to this story.
