Hasan Minhaj reacts to Netflix canceling his show Patriot Act: ‘It’s a time I’ll never forget’

Hasan Minhaj took to social media on Tuesday after Netflix canceled his weekly series Patriot Act after 40 episodes spanning six seasons over two years.

‘What a run. @patriotact has come to an end. I got the chance to work with the best writers, producers, researchers, and animators in the game,’ the 34-year-old comedian – who boasts 767K social media followers – wrote.

‘My 2 babies were born and grew up with the show. It’s a time I’ll never forget. Thank you to @Netflix and everyone who watched. I’ll miss the show, but I hear there’s a British guy [John Oliver] who has one that is quite similar.’
