KISS frontman Gene Simmons is selling his impressive Hollywood Hills home, it was revealed on Tuesday afternoon. 

The three-story modern rock palace has four bedrooms and two  bathrooms with 360 degree views of the iconic Los Angeles skyline. 

The 70-year-old rock n’ roll icon listed his property for $2.2million after buying the hillside home in 2013 for a cool $1.45million.

The home sits on a private road at the top of Laurel Canyon – an area famous for housing many of L.A.’s top rock musicians in the 60s and 70s, making it the perfect rock hideaway.

Everyone from Joni Mitchell to Jim Morrison called the canyon home at one point, making it known as a residential music mecca. 

Simmons home originally had a mid-century modern feel before he made some contemporary adjustments to it upon purchase. He renovated bathrooms and kitchens, but opted to keep some of the house’s original charm.

The master bedroom is large with high ceilings that have recessed lighting. The floors look to be gray concrete with three steps up to the hallway. And there is a cut in the wall that offers a day bed with built-in shelves.

Simmons and his family also have a Beverly Hills mansion which served as the backdrop for their reality TV show Gene Simmons Family Jewels. It looks like this will be his full-time residence now. 

He has been in lockdown with his wife Shannon Tweed and their daughter Sophie Simmons.  

In April he said he was being careful during the pandemic.

‘Stay home! Be safe! Be creative. Make up stuff. Pay attention to each other,’ he captioned a quick video clip.

The iconic rocker has been vocal about warning people to take the COVID-19 outbreak seriously for a number of weeks.

In March he shared a throwback photo where he was dressed in his full Kiss makeup while overlooking a huge crowd with the caption: ‘Stay home.’

A few days earlier he urged everyone to stay home, take the outbreak seriously and keep distance between each other when they have to go out for food.  

‘We will get through this together. The more we all follow the directives of our Government and Health Officials the more we will see the curve start to flatten,’ he wrote.
