Britney Spears has been the subject of worry for her fans amid the latest chapter in the #FreeBritney movement – with many speculating that some of her social media content is old.
But the Grammy winner is putting on a brave face, and continuing to do her own thing for her 26 million Instagram followers, churning out quirky videos and dances.
She was interrupted Monday by boyfriend Sam Asghari, in a hilarious video he posted to Instagram, seemingly to assure fans that Britney is OK and is posting up-to-date content at her own free will.

The 26-year-old whispered about Britney, 38, from a dimly-lit room: ‘So, I’ve been getting a lot of questions from you guys.’
He explained: ‘”Where’s Britney? Where’s this? Where’s that? Show us her!” So, I’m gonna show her to you.’
Sam snuck out of the room and down the stairs of her sprawling mansion, setting the footage to the Pink Panther theme song.
He turned the camera on his girlfriend at the base of the stairs, recording a video in front of a backdrop, as he scared her with a loud: ‘WHAT’S UP!’

‘Cute but free Britney please,’ one comment read, as another person wrote: ‘Hi Britney’s body double. SHOW US THE REAL BRITNEY.’
Fans have recently been rallying around Britney, amid her latest court date regarding the controversial guardianship she’s been under since 2008.
The conservatorship has given her father Jamie control over her finances and many of her personal decisions.

He told the New York Post earlier this month of the #FreeBritney movement: ‘All these conspiracy theorists don’t know anything.
‘The world don’t have a clue. It’s up to the court of California to decide what’s best for my daughter. It’s no one else’s business.’
The movement has faced plenty of controversy, seemingly well-intentioned, but often spreading potentially harmful speculation about the state of her mental health.
Miley Cyrus, who’s been known to yell out ‘Free Britney!’ at her concerts, recently told iHeartRadio: ‘It’s a treat others the way you wanted to be treated kind of thing.
‘I definitely don’t know her personally enough to know any of the details. I scream a lot of things at my show. I also think Britney, like anyone else, should have the freedom to live the life that’s most authentic to her.’
Britney’s longtime pal Lance Bass also chimed in on the movement last week on his podcast The Daily Popcast.
