Meg Ryan beams with joy as she shares a laugh with friends over lunch

She is America’s Sweetheart.

And Meg Ryan was beaming with joy while grabbing lunch with friends at Field and Fort in Summerland, California on Sunday.

The actress, 58, could not stop smiling as she shared a laugh with her friends while keeping cool with a cup of lemon water.

Meg was spotted sitting with her friends al fresco, where she sipped on her revitalizing drink surrounded by lemon trees.

As the group continued on with their conversation, at one point something tickled Meg’s funny bone.

The rom com queen kicked out her legs as she giggled in delight.

Rather than heels, Meg opted to keep it casual for her laid-back lunch get-together.

The You’ve Got Mail star sported a white T-shirt, plaid shorts, black trainers, and a long gold necklace.

She wore her wavy blonde hair down, and protected her eyes behind a trendy pair of gold-rim shades.

While she may be best known for her roles in Harry Met Sally and Sleepless In Seattle, Meg has also made headlines for her real-life love life.

Meg was previously married for 10 years to actor Dennis Quaid, whom she shares actor son Jack Quaid, 28, with.  

Dennis recently became a married man again, after eloping in Santa Barbara with his fiancee Laura Savoie back in June.  

Meg was also in a serious relationship with singer John Mellencamp.

The couple dated for eight years before becoming engaged in November 2018, only to call it off less than a year later.

Meg was the one who called it off, according to sources.

‘She’d had enough and ended the engagement. She has no regrets,’ an insider told Us Weekly at the time of the split.

In addition to son Jack, Meg also has 16-year-old daughter Daisy True Ryan, whom she adopted from China when the child was just 14 months old.
