Elizabeth’s Hurley’s son Damian has signed a new modelling contract with IMG Models, he announced on his Instagram account on Monday evening.
The 18-year-old, whose striking resemblance to his mother has not gone amiss in recent years, made the announcement as he shared a new snapshot of himself.
Captioning the black-and-white image, which showed him staring into the lens with his dark wavy hair tied back, he wrote: ‘v excited to be joining IMG @IMGModels.’

Damian’s new contract puts him in good company, as he joins an exhaustive list of successful models at IMG, including Kate Moss, Gisele Bündchen, Jourdan Dunn, Miranda Kerr, Karlie Kloss, Cara and Poppy Delevingne, and Gigi and Bella Hadid.
He made his first foray into the modelling world when he shot his debut campaign for Pat McGrath last summer.
And last month, Damian appeared in a very steamy new make-up campaign alongside supermodel Irina Shayk, 34.

The sensual video, shot prior to the COVID-19 lockdown, saw Damian straddled by the leather-clad bombshell as they promoted Pat McGrath’s new Dark Star Mascara.
Sharing the video to Instagram Damian wrote alongside: ‘the breathtaking @irinashayk and I for my favourite Aunty @PatMcGrathReal, directed by the extraordinary #StevenMeisel.’
Initially, only Irina is in view, but soon the racy clip shows the model wrapping her body around Damian as the leather-clad pair intertwine while an intense heartbeat plays.
At times, the pair gaze into the camera while elsewhere Damian can be seen resting with his eyes closed, appearing to be lost in the moment.

Irina caresses Damian’s head whilst wearing a pair of long leather gloves, while the teenager gently touches the top of her thigh with his bare hand.
As the pair move, spoken word is read out: ‘I love her beauty, but I fear her mind’ – a quote from 19th century French writer Marie-Henri Beyle, better known by his pen name Stendhal.
The author’s name is also read out, and is of particular note given that Stendhal’s syndrome is a psychosomatic condition involving rapid heartbeat, fainting, confusion and even hallucinations, allegedly occurring when individuals become exposed to objects or phenomena of great beauty.
Damian has certainly inherited his mother’s cool confidence in front of the camera.

In fact, the actress expressed her pride by sharing a screen-grab of the video alongside an adoring caption.
She wrote: ‘Proud Mama had to post this ravishing shot of my son @damienhurley with the gorgeous @irinashayk for the new @patmcgrathreal campaign shot by Steven Meisel.’
Irina shared the full video, writing: Major new #DarkStarMascara directed by the iconic #StevenMeisel for the legendary @patmcgrathreal! New must have.. alongside the most amazing beauty @damianhurley #PatMcGrathLabs.’

The multimillionaire tragically committed suicide by leaping to his death from his Los Angeles apartment block on 22 June amid a battle with depression.
Hours after his tragic death came to light, Liz and Damian thanked fans for their ‘overwhelming kindness’ following the devastating news.
The student took to Instagram, where he posted a photograph and shared a gratitude-filled caption alongside.
His message read: ‘I’d like to thank you all again for your kindness over the past few days. Your love and support has helped me greatly during this challenging time.’

He took to Instagram hours after the ‘devastating news’ emerged, sharing a photograph of a beautiful sunset.
Damian captioned the breathtaking image: ‘Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone that has reached out following the devastating news.
‘I’m trying to reply to as many of you as I can, but please know I will always remember your kindness.
‘This is a very strange and confusing time and I’m immensely grateful to be surrounded by my phenomenal family and friends.’
