Drake showcases his washboard abs in a sweaty post-gym selfie on Instagram…days after dropping surprise single Laugh Now Cry Later

Drake surprised fans earlier in the week with the release of his new single Laugh Now Cry Later featuring fellow rapper Lil Durk.

And the 33-year-old rap star kept the surprises coming by uploading a sweaty shirtless selfie to his Instagram Story on Saturday.

In the self-portrait, Drake had his phone aimed at an elevator mirror as he bared his washboard abs for the camera.

The God’s Plan hitmaker, who looked fresh off a grueling workout, had a hefty reusable water bottle in his hand.

He had his workout shirt hung over his arm and he covered his bottom half with a pair of grey Nike basketball shorts.

Although he did not included a written caption, Drake did insert three huffing emojis on to the post seen by his 70.8million followers.

After uploading his shirtless selfie, the Grammy Award-winning rapper followed up with a more modest self-portrait.

In the artistic snapshot, Drake – born Aubrey Drake Graham – sported a pair of frameless, heart-shaped shades as he sipped on a black solo cup.

He also had a heart shape shaved into his hair and a pair of glistening diamond studs in his ears.

In the music video for his surprise single Laugh Now Cry Later, also released on Thursday night, Drake showed off his sports prowess, or lack thereof, while battling on the field and on the court with star athletes including Kevin Durant, Odell Beckham Jr and Marshawn Lynch.
