Charli XCX took a break from her home quarantine on Sunday for a coffee run in Los Angeles.

The 28-year-old avant pop star was spotted out in the city while wearing an eye-catching patchwork blouse covered in colorful quilt-like designs.

The singer left the top partially unopened to show off a hint of her toned midriff.

Charli paired her top with a set of royal blue shorts to showcase her legs, and she also wore a sporty pair of brilliant white trainers.

The 5ft3in musician practiced proper coronavirus safety measures by wearing a black patterned mask, and she appeared to be maintaining social distance as well.

She completed her casual look by pulling her raven tresses back into a bun.

Though Charli has spent most of the pandemic in LA with her boyfriend Huck Kwong, he didn’t accompany her for her outing on Sunday.

During a May interview with Zane Lowe for Apple Music, Charli revealed that she and Huck were on the verge of breaking up just prior to the pandemic because they had been spending so much time apart.

The couple had previously been friends since 2012 and began dating in 2014.

‘We were living on separate sides of the country even though we were physically far apart, we were emotionally quite distant as well,’ she explained.

‘And this time period, I’m extremely lucky that it has brought us physically close together because now we’re living in the same house but also emotionally, and I finally understand that this person is somebody who I can trust with my life and I will have my security and protection at the front point of their heart no matter what.’

Their home quarantine seems to have not only strengthened their relationship, but it also gave Charli (real name: Charlotte Aitchison) a creative boost.

Working at a feverish pace, she recorded her album How I’m Feeling Now, which was released to instant critical acclaim.

The music, which she recorded at home, was matched by her DIY videos for several songs, some of which featured footage sent in from fans.

The I Love It songwriter also filmed some lo-fi green screen footage for the videos, which she returned to earlier this month when she posted a humorous video of her rubber-legged dance to Meg Thee Stallion’s single Savage.

‘hello i’m not cool and i don’t understand. help?’ Charlie wrote in the caption.
