Inside Today show host Karl Stefanovic’s VERY low-key 46th birthday

Karl Stefanovic was forced to swap his all-out birthday celebrations for a low-key gathering due to the restrictions imposed by the coronavirus pandemic.

Following the change in plans, the Today show host, who turned 46 on Wednesday, was joined by his younger brother Tom and his wealth manager friend Tom O’Brien for dinner hosted by him and his wife, Jasmine Yarbrough, 36.

Speaking to The Daily Telegraph, Karl admitted: ‘We would have loved to have a big dinner with everyone, but it is too risky. When this is all over, we’ll have a party with all our friends from Victoria – my shout!’ 

Karl’s visit by his cameraman turned almond farmer brother was even more special given that he had journeyed from Griffith to Sydney to see him. 

The breakfast show star’s pal Simon also brought along his wife Caro for the birthday dinner held at him home. 

On Wednesday, it appeared that Karl was all tuckered out by the afternoon.

His wife Jasmine Yarbrough, 36, shared a sweet photo of her husband napping alongside their three-month-old daughter Harper on Instagram.

Jasmine wrote on the cute image: ‘Birthdays are exhausting.’

The shoe designer also uploaded a couple of other images to celebrate her hubby’s special day.

She shared a photo of her and Karl in a pool during a holiday in Italy.

The blonde beauty, who married the Today host in December 2018, also posted a recent snap of Karl giving her a kiss on the cheek as the both work face masks.

 She wrote alongside them: ‘We love you. Happy Covid Birthday.’

 Jasmine’s sweet birthday tribute to Karl comes after he was surprised with an incredible cheeseburger cake.

Karl’s birthday burger cake comes as he revealed had shed an impressive eight kilos, earlier this month.

He embarked on a 10 kilograms in 10 weeks health program back in May and weighed in at 105kg.

Karl confirmed he was down to 97kg last week, and had a goal weight of 90 kilos.
