Viewers question Bella Varelis’ fashion choices during yacht date with Locky Gilbert

She left him speechless when he first set eyes on her, so it’s no surprise that Locky Gilbert chose Bella Varelis for the first solo date on The Bachelor. 

And fans flocked to Twitter to share their thoughts on the 25-year-old’s odd outfit choice on Thursday night’s episode. 

The marketing consultant wore a short floral dress that featured a deep V-neck, which showed off her black bra. 

‘Nothing says “adventurous side” like showing some bra on the first date,’ commented one viewer.

Meanwhile, others were quick to question the dress, with one writing: ‘Poor girl has lost a button… if only he had a pin on his sleeve.’

A third quipped: ‘What happened to Bella’s dress? Bits missing’ and a fourth viewer seemed to share the sentiment. 

‘Someone tell Bella her top button’s undone,’ they wrote. 

Another viewer put it all down to a wardrobe malfunction. ‘Is Bella’s dress on backwards?’ they wrote.  

During their date, Bella asked Locky to open some Champagne, to which he replied, ‘I’ve actually never popped a bottle before.’

‘I’m like, super-nervous, how do you do it?’ he laughed, as he attempted the task at hand. 

‘I can’t believe that Locky’s never popped a bottle of Champagne before,’ said Bella in her interview, before adding: ‘I kind of coaxed him through it a little bit.’   

Minutes later, she scored her first kiss with Locky as they bobbed up and down in the water.
