The Bachelor: Tension as Areeba and Juliette go head-to-head

‘That b***h is a snake!’ Tensions reach boiling point as Areeba Emmanuel and Juliette Herrera head for the ultimate showdown on The Bachelor

Locky Gilbert’s journey to find love on The Bachelor continued on Thursday night as the mansion was rocked by the introduction of an intruder.

And if you thought that was cause for drama, think again, because tensions are set to reach boiling point on the popular dating series.

A trailer for an upcoming episode reveals Areeba Emmanuel, 25, and Juliette Herrera, 34, are set to go head-to-head at a cocktail party next week.

In the promo, the two women team up with Kristina Ambramhoff, 24, to try and score more alone time with Locky.

‘We made our own group date,’ the trio tell the strapping hunk.

Host Osher Gunsberg is then heard in voice-over saying their ‘bold move comes spectacularly unstuck’ – and with serious consequences, by the sounds of it.

‘I just feel ripped off, to be honest. How dare she betray me,’ Areeba is heard saying before confronting Juliette.

While the trailer keeps coy on what happened between the two girls, it clearly has Areeba fuming.

The Sydney-based beauty is seen storming off, saying: ‘I don’t want to be your friend. That b***h is a snake.’

This certainly isn’t the first time Areeba has found herself at the centre of drama on the Channel 10 dating show.

In the premiere episode, Zoe-Clare McDonald, 23, flipped out when Areeba ambushed her one on one time with Locky the cocktail party.

‘I just want to say what you did was really inappropriate, and it was not okay!’ Zoe-Clare said.

Despite Zoe-Clare labelling her a ‘moll’, a giggling Areeba thanked her for her ‘feedback’ and continued enjoying her sandwich.

The Bachelor continues Wednesday at 7.30pm on Channel Ten
