‘I have stayed silent because that’s my choice for now but know I adore you all. I’m sure next season will be amazing also,’ she added.

At the time, TV Line reported that Ruby’s departure from the series wasn’t all her decision, though there was an amicable parting of ways.

‘It wasn’t 100 percent her decision. It was a breakup,’ an insider said.

‘She wasn’t happy working on the show, and did that make her fun to work with? No. So everyone decided it would be in the best interests of the show, and for all concerned, if they parted ways. It just wasn’t a good fit.’

According to reports, Ruby also wasn’t a fan of living in Vancouver, where the series is filmed.

Prior to the series, the Australian beauty had played smaller supporting roles in films and television, requiring more modest time commitments.
