Jackie ‘O’ Henderson’s lack of screen time on Tuesday’s episode of The Masked Singer didn’t go unnoticed – and it turns out there was a good reason for it.
The radio host has revealed that she begged producers to remove ‘unflattering shots’ of her, after a bizarre incident caused her weight to balloon overnight.
She explained on The Kyle and Jackie O Show on Wednesday that she gained five kilograms in less than 24 hours from eating a supposedly ‘healthy’ snack, and ‘looked very bloated’ on camera as a result.

The mother of one, 45, said she arrived on set to discover her dress didn’t fit her anymore and her breasts had grown by ‘two cup sizes’.
This was because she was experiencing water retention and bloating due to having eaten 80 seaweed snacks backstage the previous night.
Jackie said she was convinced the snacks, which are high in salt, had caused her body to expand overnight.

‘The next day, you wouldn’t believe it, the water retention in my body, I reckon made me put on five kilograms overnight,’ she said on air.
Unfortunately, it was too late for a costume change, so Jackie had to squeeze into her dress and felt uncomfortable throughout the taping.
Jackie said her co-stars had noticed her bloated appearance, but most of the people on set were too polite to mention it.

She later requested to be edited out of the episode as much as possible, and the production team agreed to minimise her appearances.
‘I said, “If you could just find some flattering shots maybe, that would be great,”‘ Jackie explained.
‘Apparently there must not have been many, because I think I was barely seen on the show last night!’
