Gwen Stefani corrects Dua Lipa after she calls Blake Shelton her ‘husband’ while guest hosting

Gwen Stefani playfully teased Dua Lipa after she mistakenly called Blake Shelton her ‘husband’ while guest hosting Jimmy Kimmel Live.

The 50-year-old singer was asked Monday by Dua, 24, about spending quarantine with ‘her husband’ Blake, 44, at his ranch in Oklahoma.

‘Who else was with you? How was that?,’ Dua asked the No Doubt singer.

‘Well, he’s not my husband, but that sounded cool when you said it,’ quipped Gwen laughing.

Dua hung her head and giggled after being corrected.

Gwen said that she was on Blake’s tour when it was shut down due to coronavirus and quarantined with him in Oklahoma along with her brother and his family and her three boys.

‘It was actually really a lot of fun at first. All the sudden work is over and you just get to indulge on being on this ranch,’ said Gwen who gushed about the exotic animals on the ranch.

She told Dua about growing up in Orange County, California that she said was ‘nothing like the middle of America’.

‘Our nature was the beach. So to be able to be in Oklahoma and experience a ranch kind of vibe was something I never really had. It’s been great, amazing,’ Gwen said.

Dua and Gwen teamed up for a remix of Physical for the upcoming Club Future Nostalgia: The Remix Album. 

The remix album is scheduled to be released August 28 through Warner Records.

Club Future Nostalgia also will feature a remix of Levitating featuring Madonna, 61, and Missy Elliott, 49.

Dua announced Monday that the album was delayed a week to create an animated video for each track on the remix.

Gwen has sons Kingston 14, Zuma, 11, and six-year-old Apollo with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale, 54. 

Dua released Future Nostalgia in March after winning the Grammy Award for Best New Artist in 2019 following the release of her self-titled debut album in 2017.
