Kylie Minogue‘s new single Say Something has won rave reviews from her loyal fans. 

But in a tragic turn of events, the galactic disco track has been struggling on the charts since its release, last month.

Say Something has yet to chart in the 52-year-old’s native Australia and has only reached No. 82 on the UK singles chart.

It seems to be doing better in the US, where the song has reached No. 19 on the dance chart.

The music video for Say Something was recently released, and many hardcore Kylie fans praised it as one of the best things that the pop princess has ever done.

The clip, directed by Sophie Muller, sees the star riding a golden horse and dancing in front of an interstellar backdrop.

Filmed entirely on green screen amid coronavirus restrictions, the video relies heavily on galactic special effects and a flamboyant wardrobe. 

‘Love seeing how creative people are under the constraints of a global pandemic,’ gushed one Kylie fan.

‘Kylie Minogue has never made a bad music video and that streak stays alive with Say Something bless,’ wrote another.

One fan decided to take a swipe at Kylie Jenner, tweeting: ‘The only Kylie I want to ever hear about is Kylie Ann Minogue. Real class, real glamour, real TALENT…one of the classiest pop icons around.’

Say Something is the first single from Kylie’s upcoming album, Disco, due out November 6.
