Ciarran Stott slams BIP co-star Matt Whyatt and vows to NEVER appear on franchise again

Bachelor In Paradise star Ciarran Stott has slammed co-star Matt Whyatt, calling out the ‘hypocrisy’ of his actions on-and-off screen.

Ciarran believes that while he has ‘owned up’ to his behaviour on the show, Matt was ‘hypocritical’ to shame him following reports the BMX stunt rider had also romanced multiple women in short succession since leaving Paradise.

‘You can’t do one thing on TV and act the opposite off screen. That’s hypocritical,’ Ciarran said in a series of Instagram Stories on Tuesday.

Ciarran romanced three ladies in succession on Bachelor In Paradise – Abbie Chatfield, then Jessica Brody and Kiki Morris.

‘I own my actions and how they were portrayed on the show. I just want to call out the hypocrisy shown by Matt during and after the show. Matt came on with the full intention of getting with Renee [Ciarran’s ex] and calling to light all my past indiscretions in front of the camera.

‘However, when the show has stopped filming he goes and gets with different girls and wants to say that he is a genuine guy because he got a great edit on the show.’

Ciarran then directed people to listen to single mother Cheyenne O’Leary ‘spill the tea’ on her 2019 fling with Matt on the So Dramatic podcast

In a lengthy Instagram post on Monday, the 28-year-old professional BMX rider insisted that he did not start dating single mother Cheyenne – whom he has since split from – until after he’d ended things with Renee in late December.

He added that he meant every word he said to Renee, 26, during the season finale, and dismissed the people accusing him of infidelity as fame-hungry wannabes.

‘This guy you see on your TV is 100 per cent me. I can’t believe I’m having to defend myself against some click-bait media and people wanting their five minutes of fame, because we finished a show and we are their free ride to self promotion,’ Matt said.

He continued: ‘I did not kiss, sleep with or have any relationship with anyone while I was still with Renee or while I’ve been with any other girl for that matter… I am the genuine guy you saw on your TV screen.’

It comes after Renee revealed on the So Dramatic! podcast on Sunday that Matt had brutally dumped her via text message in late December – just weeks after they left Fiji as a couple to pursue a long-distance relationship.

Ciarran later addressed fans in a video: ‘To everyone who thinks I am deflecting the drama away from me [and onto Matt], I’m definitely not. If I was doing that I would have been doing that the whole time the show was on. I didn’t, I stayed quiet.

‘I’ve done my interviews. I owned up to everything, I didn’t blame anyone or anything else. I took full responsibility. I am just simply shedding a bit of light on a similar story to what I copped the heat for,’ he said.

Ciarran later dramatically revealed he was ‘done’ with Channel 10: ‘That’s it for me. I’m off the show, I’m finally putting that behind me. I’m done with this whole bachelor franchise s**t.’
