The Bachelor: Locky Gilbert ‘makes a secret pact with Bella Varelis’

The Bachelor is rocked by WILD claims Locky Gilbert made a ‘secret pact’ with contestant Bella Varelis to guarantee her a place in the finale

The Bachelor hasn’t even premiered yet, but it’s already at the centre of a scandal.

On Monday, reports surfaced that Locky Gilbert had secretly guaranteed one of his contestants, Bella Varelis, a place in the final two before filming began.

According to Woman’s Day, the 30-year-old got in touch with Bella, 32, via mutual friends earlier this year and they made a ‘deal’.

‘He promised top two’ The Bachelor Locky Gilbert, 30, has been hit by scandal he made a ‘secret pact’ with contestant Bella Varelis before going on the show according to Woman’s Day

‘They have mutual friends and spoke before the show. There was chatter he promised her she’d be top two,’ a source claimed.

The insider added Bella and Locky hit it off straight away in the mansion, and their seemingly instant connection upset some of the other women.

They also alleged that Bella was a ‘producer’s pet’ who played up her emotions and delivered for the cameras.

It comes after Locky told The Daily Telegraph over the weekend that he was madly in love with his winning contestant.

He said: ‘I can definitely assure you I am madly in love. It’s an amazing feeling and to be able to say it out aloud now, it’s a really good feeling.’

‘It’s definitely a love story that everyone will remember. It’s a crazy ride, I’ll tell ya that,’ he added.
