Heather Rae Young dons neon bikini on beach date with fiance Tarek El Moussa

Heather Rae Young and Tarek El Moussa escaped to Mexico last week for a romantic vacation to celebrate their recent engagement.

The couple were spotted in Cabo San Lucas, where they’re staying at the 5-star Montage Los Cabos, on Saturday, with the 32-year-old Selling Sunset star putting her beach body on display in a strapless neon green bikini.

Tarek, 38, opted for black shorts and a tank with matching baseball cap as the couple strolled along the sand to find loungers for some serious relaxation.

The Netflix beauty clutched her flip flops and wore reflective shades as she carried a beach tote with her.

The couple got engaged on July 25 after a year of dating. 

And Heather dished on her podcast Flashbacks with Jessica Hall and Heather Rae Young that she and the Flip or Flop star started looking at engagement rings just three months into their relationship.

Of the proposal, the Selling Sunset star said, ‘I knew it was gonna come eventually because we talked about marriage,

‘We looked at rings like three months in. Nothing serious, but we went and looked.’

While the proposal wasn’t a complete surprise, Heather said she didn’t expect Tarek to get down on one knee while they were celebrating their one-year anniversary last month in Catalina Island.

‘I didn’t think he would do it on our one year anniversary,’ she said. ‘I thought he was gonna wait maybe a few months after. Maybe he thought I’d be expecting it.’

Before the engagement the couple had a dinner date on Tarek’s boat with a private chef and personal bartender.

Heather gushed, ‘It was a perfect night, people probably thought he was gonna propose then — no. We spent the night on our boat and woke up in Catalina.’

The proposal took place at the Descanso Beach Club and Tarek presented Heather with an 8-carat diamond ring as the sun set.

The blonde beauty was camera-ready thanks to Tarek’s assistant telling her that they would be filming b-roll for his show Flipping 101 during the trip.

‘A lot of people were wondering that, like how did you not know when all the cameras were there?’ she said. ‘First of all, Tarek is the most romantic man. He’s spoiled me rotten from the very beginning. He’s just always making me feel special. We’re just so in love that this whole weekend just wasn’t out of the ordinary for our love, with how he treats me.’

The couple met on July 4 2019 after mutual friends introduced them in Newport Beach, California. 

Tarek has daughter Taylor and son Brayden, now nine and four, with ex-wife Christina Anstead.
