‘I’m being honest!’ Farmer Wants a Wife’s Ashleigh slams claims she ‘lied’ to farmer Harry Robertson about Karlana Alexander’s romantic interest in a crew member
She informed farmer Harry Robertson that Karlana Alexander admitted to the girls she was interested in a crew member on Sunday night’s episode of Farmer Wants a Wife.
And now, Ashleigh has slammed claims she ‘lied’ to the sheep farmer, 29, to sabotage Karlana’s chance at winning his heart.
‘Two things I hate most in this world – cheaters and liars. And these are two things I’m absolutely not! The one thing I value above anything else in the world is honesty,’ she wrote on Instagram.

‘And I make it my damn mission to be as honest as I possibly can in all situations. Did I tell someone about something I shouldn’t have? Sure did. Dumb of me, and I admit that on national television. And I’ll admit it every. Damn. Day,’ she added.
Ashleigh went on to say she didn’t ‘make it up to cause drama’, but said she regretted relaying the conversation.
‘It was the whole conversation we had. I relayed the whole conversation to someone else, honestly in one of those “you won’t believe this!” moments. I did not speak to Harry. And stupidly, I did not stop to think that this is reality TV, and there’s no way that this will just go away gently,’ she wrote.
She added: ‘I was truly upset at how everything played out the night of the ball. I am willing to shoot myself in the foot, as long as I’m being honest… I know damn well that not one single lie came out of my mouth that night or that whole time and I’m good with that.’

During Sunday night’s episode of Farmer Wants a Wife, Karlana quit the show after farmer Harry confronted her about her interest in a crew member.
‘I’ve heard some things from the other girls. They have told me that you were keen to get back to Sydney to catch up with a crew member and I just wanted to know if it’s true or not,’ he asked.
A stunned Karlana admitted: ‘I’m keen to get back home to be honest… Well maybe I’ve mentioned there was a crew member that I got along with, but I get along with multiple crew members.’
‘If you’re not in this situation to get to know me and that side of it… Did you come here to find a crew member or to find a farmer?’ he asked.
Karlana broke down in tears and told Harry she couldn’t believe he would question her intentions.

‘Are you seriously asking me that?’ she said before adding: ‘I don’t want to be here anymore.’
Prior to the confrontation, Harry asked the other girls whether the rumour was true.
Ashleigh explained that Karlana had mentioned there was a crew member she was ‘interested’ in.
After Karlana stormed off and quit the show, Ashleigh broke down in tears and said she felt like ‘it was all her fault’ because she told Harry what Karlana had said.
‘The only thing I ever want to be in life is honest. I’ve had a lot of people not be honest to me so honesty is huge with me,’ she said.
