Cara De La Hoyde and Nathan Massey reveal they have named their baby daughter Delilah 

Love Island stars Cara De La Hoyde and Nathan Massey have revealed their baby daughter’s name, two weeks on from her birth.

The couple proudly announced their little girl is called Delilah De La Hoyde-Massey in a shoot and interview with New Magazine.

The delighted parents, who already share son Freddie, two, gushed their baby girl is ‘healthy and beautiful’.

‘Here she is our Princess . Delilah dela Hoyde-Massey,’ Cara captioned her Instagram post. 

‘She’s healthy and beautiful,’ Nathan excitedly told the magazine, adding of his wife: ‘Cara is an absolute hero and, I tell you what, I take my hat off to all women.’

Cara had her own loving words for her little girl, describing her as ‘lovely. She’s so cute and pretty.’ 

Last week Cara shared a heartwarming snap of her son Freddie, two, bonding with his sister as he enjoyed his first full day as a big brother.

Captioning the image, which showed little Freddie staring intently at his new sibling as they each rested in their mother’s arms, Cara wrote: ‘I may look absolutely shattered but I’m so in ❤️ right now…

‘P.s reality of a new mum… bleeding, back ache, sore nipples & still looking pregnant… no one tells you these bits (but it’s so worth it).’

Cara’s husband Nathan uploaded a similar image of the mother and her children relaxing together on the picture-sharing platform, adding his own happy words.

The newly-anointed father-of-two wrote: ‘My life is complete… and Fred absolutely loves his little sister.’

Cara was taken into hospital to be induced after doctors diagnosed her with pre-eclampsia, a condition which causes high blood pressure and can be deadly for both a woman and her unborn baby if untreated.

The reality star shared a sweet snap of her newborn daughter’s hands holding onto her finger three days later and thanked staff for taking such good care of her.

Cara penned: ‘She’s here and home. We both want to say a massive thank you to all the amazing ladies who looked after us @darent_valley_hospital over the last few days.’ (sic)

She also praised her 1.1 million followers for their support, she added: ‘Thank you for all your messages that have kept me going.’

Nathan took to Instagram to tell fans the happy news on Tuesday, standing outside of the hospital, he said: ‘Hi guys, I just wanted to let you guys know Cara gave birth to our beautiful baby daughter this morning. She’s done an absolutely fantastic job. 

‘I just want to say Cara you are a hero. I’m really, really emotional this morning. Everything is good, Cara’s doing great, baby is doing great.

‘Just want to say one thing us blokes could never in a million years go through what women do, so everyone woman that has given birth – hats off to you because I don’t think us geezers have the pain threshold.  

‘Massive congratulations to Cara, you’ve done a fantastic job. Welcome to the world my little daughter.’
