Rose Byrne enjoys the local sights in Byron Bay with husband Bobby Cannavale before he begins filming for Nicole Kidman’s new TV series Nine Perfect Strangers

Rose Byrne spent some quality time with her husband, Bobby Cannavale, before he commences filming for the Nicole Kidman produced series, Nine Perfect Strangers.

Despite the rainy weather on Sunday, the Australian actress, 41, appeared happy and relaxed as she checked out the local Byron Bay scene with her other half, 50.

Rose nailed her off-duty look with a bright red cardigan and casual blue denims while American actor Bobby kept things funky in a pastel colour-clock hoodie.

Rose relied on her naturally striking features with a simple slick of make-up, and toted her belongings in a chic white tote.

Shielding himself from the rain by popping up his hood and baseball cap, Bobby kept the rest of his look simple with a pair of jeans.

The loved-up couple made the most of their time off as they soaked up the atmosphere in the hippy coastal town

‘It is a great opportunity for me to give back to the community that nurtured me through so much of my career,’ she said.

Nicole will also star in the series alongside an A-list Hollywood cast including Melissa McCarthy, Luke Evans and Manny Jacinto.
